Seaweed Masterclass

Guided by  Marine  Biologist Frances  Gallagher,  the talk will focus on how to identify and forage edible seaweed from the Irish shore. Through a hands-on cooking demo and a tasting experience, you will learn about the deliciousness and nutritional aspects of seaweed and how to integrate them in your daily diet.  The event will take place at  Eco  Sustainable Camping of Inch Hideaway,  East  Cork, only  5  min drive to Inch strand and Roche’s Point where you can put in practice your new skills.

Ireland’s much-lauded culinary revolution is being propelled forward by a host of talented young people and this event will highlight their endeavours to secure Ireland’s place on the international foodie map.

A roundtable conversation in the morning hosted by Manuela Spinelli of Eurotoques Ireland will see young distillers, chefs, food engineers and students share their thoughts on the future of food.

We’ve picked up a trick or two since the day John Jameson founded his distillery on Bow St. in 1780. And there’s nothing we love more than sharing our old-found knowledge with new-found friends. If you love whiskey, this is the experience for you - a deep dive into the workings of the Distillery, with Distillers Apprentice courses on the entire grain to glass production process as well as the heritage of Irish whiskey.
